The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is pleased to announce that its 73rd General Assembly will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from 8 to 11 April 2027. The Assembly will be held at the Elysee Hotel and will convene members, policymakers, scientists, conservation practitioners, and wildlife managers from across the globe.
The Assembly will provide an authoritative forum for dialogue on biodiversity conservation, sustainable wildlife use, and the critical role of the wildlife economy in supporting rural communities and natural habitats.
Hamburg’s historic Fischauktionshalle provides the setting for the Gala Evening closing the CIC 73rd General Assembly on Saturday, 10 April 2027.
Programme Overview
The four-day programme combines substantive Assembly sessions with high-level networking and social events. Delegates will arrive on Thursday, 8 April, with Executive and Council Meetings convening at the Elysee Hotel. The Council Dinner at Carls Brasserie in the evening, will provide an early opportunity for structured dialogue among senior delegates.

The main Assembly sessions will take place on Friday, 9 April, and Saturday, 10 April, at the Elysee Hotel, with a Welcome Dinner at Chefs Warehouse on the Friday evening. The Assembly will conclude with a Gala Evening at Hamburg’s historic Fischauktionshalle on Saturday, followed by an optional leisure programme on Sunday, 11 April.

Accommodation
The Elysee Hotel will serve as both the Assembly venue and principal accommodation for delegates. Discounted room rates, inclusive of breakfast, have been negotiated for the duration of the event. A dedicated booking link will be provided shortly.
