The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is pleased to announce Fabbrica d’armi Pietro Beretta as its newest Platinum Sponsor, marking a significant step forward in strengthening cooperation between Europe’s oldest conservation organisation and the oldest manufacturing company in the world, with 500 years of history linked to the production of firearms and outdoor products.
Beretta’s decision to join the CIC reflects its long‐standing commitment to responsible hunting, cultural heritage, and the conservation of biodiversity. As a global industry leader, Beretta recognises the essential role of sustainable use in conservation policy, as set out in the CIC’s mission and Strategic Plan 2030.
Beretta will work with the CIC to support key initiatives and strengthen engagement with the CIC’s global network, which encompasses more than 90 international and national NGO Members, 29 State Members, and a community of over 2,000 professionals active in more than 80 countries. Through this collaboration, Beretta will be integrated across CIC activities, including participation in policy dialogues, cultural events, scientific initiatives, and the CIC General Assembly.
A particular focus of the partnership will be engagement with lodges and estates across Europe and internationally to support the Beretta customer journey. This will include showcasing best practice in ethical hunting, promoting high standards in wildlife management, and contributing to the wider CIC community of experts, landowners, guides, and conservation specialists.
Alessandra Grolla, Sales and Supply Chain Director for C. & A. at Beretta, assisted by Luca Danova (C&A International Area Manager at Beretta), stated:
“At Beretta we believe that the great tradition of sporting firearms and outdoor heritage carries a responsibility for the future of our natural environment. Our partnership with the CIC enables us to bring our global customer base into contact with the very best in conservation policy, networked expertise and field practice. Together we will work at the lodge and estate level, ensuring that every aspect of the hunting experience is aligned with the highest standards of wildlife stewardship.”
Arno Wimpffen, Director General of the CIC, assisted by Tristan Breijer (Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the CIC) stated:
“It is a pleasure to welcome Beretta at the Platinum level of sponsorship. This is not simply a corporate logo on an event brochure. It is a genuine alignment of values: hunting tradition, sustainable wildlife management and global conservation. By integrating Beretta into our network of 90-plus NGO Members around the world and on the ground at the land-owner level, we are strengthening the bridge between field practice and policymaking. This partnership signals a new era of collaboration.”
The CIC welcomes Beretta to the Platinum level and looks forward to a productive, long-term partnership dedicated to safeguarding nature, supporting rural communities and championing Europe’s hunting heritage.
