Where Borders Fade, Unity Flies
The CIC Wildlife Photo Prize 2025 is now open for submissions! This year, we invite photographers to capture the essence of falconry—a timeless tradition that unites cultures, landscapes, and generations.
Falconry has existed for thousands of years, moving across continents, through empires, and into the present day. It is more than a hunting practice—it is a story of connection, skill, and trust. We are looking for images that do more than document; we want photographs that bring us into the moment—a falcon taking flight at dawn, the intensity of a chase, the quiet understanding between falcon and falconer.
This year’s competition pays tribute to falconry as a living heritage, recognized by UNESCO and deeply embedded in the identity of communities worldwide. Whether capturing the relationship between falconers and their birds, the cultural traditions that shape falconry, or the dramatic beauty of falcons in action, we want to see your perspective.
