The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) and JAGD & HUND Dortmund, Europe’s largest and most prestigious hunting fair, are pleased to announce a renewed and significantly expanded Platinum Partnership ahead of the 2026 event (27 January – 1 February, Messe Dortmund).
JAGD & HUND has long been a central platform for showcasing hunting, conservation, and outdoor pursuits. Each year, the fair welcomes tens of thousands of hunters, conservationists, dog enthusiasts, and nature lovers to Messe Dortmund, where over 800 exhibitors from around the world present the latest innovations in hunting equipment, clothing, and sustainable practices.
The CIC’s involvement with JAGD & HUND spans many years, highlighted hosting of the highly successful Namibia Evening and the facilitation of international dialogues featuring expert speakers, politicians, and representatives from Southern African nations. These events underline the shared vision of both organisations: promoting sustainable hunting as an integral tool for biodiversity conservation, community development, and global collaboration.
This renewed partnership builds on these foundations with ambitious plans for 2026, including an expanded Namibia Evening, a high-level industry networking event, and increased representation from international stakeholders and policy-makers. The CIC will proactively encourage participation in the fair through its extensive international network, further reinforcing JAGD & HUND’s status as a global forum for sustainable hunting and conservation.
Through joint communication initiatives and social media activities, both organisations aim to elevate public awareness about the essential role that sustainable hunting plays in preserving wildlife and habitats.
Both the CIC and JAGD & HUND look forward to welcoming visitors, exhibitors, and international partners in Dortmund for a vibrant and constructive exchange about the future of wildlife conservation, sustainable use, and hunting heritage.
