Emil Frey Hungary Extends Longstanding Support for CIC with Environmentally Friendly Vehicle
Budapest, 13 November 2024 – The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is pleased to announce the continuation of a longstanding partnership with Emil Frey Hungary, who has generously provided a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid vehicle for CIC’s use over the next year. This environmentally friendly vehicle underscores the CIC’s commitment to sustainable practices in conservation and organisational operations.
This partnership, originally facilitated by CIC member Philip Rhomberg, has supported CIC’s work in the field for nearly a decade. Emil Frey Hungary has previously sponsored CIC vehicles, including those used during the One with Nature fair and assembly in 202, allowing CIC representatives to travel efficiently across Europe to further wildlife conservation initiatives.
In recognition of Emil Frey Hungary’s contributions to conservation, CIC Ambassador Tamás Marghescu and Deputy Director General Arno Wimpffen presented Andrea Pethő, Emil Frey Hungary’s Toyota Brand Director, with the CIC Gold Medal. The award symbolizes the CIC’s appreciation for their support and dedication to environmental stewardship.
The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is registered under Emil Frey Hungary, which has extended the vehicle to the CIC for use by Deputy Director General Arno Wimpffen for one-year. This support allows the CIC to travel sustainably and continue their work in conservation across international borders.
