The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Steffen Koch for his outstanding leadership of the German Delegation over the past six years. During this period, the delegation has seen remarkable growth and increasing influence, with membership rising by over 30% and significant investment in projects, research, and communications, strengthening the visibility of sustainable use in Germany.
Steffen’s tireless dedication and strategic guidance have positioned the German Delegation as a leading force within the CIC, contributing meaningfully to both national and international conservation dialogue.
We also wish to express our sincere thanks to Hannes Siege, Deputy Head of the German Delegation, whose steadfast support and commitment over these years have been instrumental to this success. His contribution has been central to delivering key projects and strengthening the delegation’s work.
In recognition of his achievements, the German Delegation has nominated Dr. Steffen Koch as Vice President of the CIC in the forthcoming elections to be held at the CIC General Assembly in Vienna, April 16-19.
At the same time, the CIC warmly welcomes Hans Martin Lösch as the new Head of the German Delegation. We look forward to working closely with him as he builds on this strong foundation and continues to strengthen Germany’s role within the CIC network.

Marc Laudin will take over as Deputy Head of the German Delegation, ensuring continuity and further strengthening the delegation’s work moving forward.
We thank Steffen and Hannes for their dedication and congratulate Hans Martin on taking up this important responsibility.
