Born on 12 October 1940, Jean-Ludovic Hartmann was an accomplished lawyer and notary in Fribourg, Switzerland. His lifelong dedication to hunting, wildlife management, and conservation made him an invaluable member of the CIC community for nearly four decades.
From 1986 to 2006, Jean-Ludovic served with distinction as Vice-President and Secretary General of the CIC Swiss Delegation. His extensive legal expertise greatly contributed to the CIC, particularly during the relocation of its headquarters to Vienna.
