CIC Platinum Sponsor HIKMICRO has unveiled a new brand positioning that speaks directly to the values shared by the global hunting community: confidence, responsibility, and a deeper connection with the natural world.
The CIC is pleased to congratulate its Platinum Sponsor HIKMICRO on the launch of “Trust Your Journey” — a new brand vision that reflects the company’s evolution from a technology manufacturer into a trusted partner for hunters worldwide.
For many hunters, the challenge of the field is not simply one of equipment, but of judgement. Knowing when to act, what lies ahead, and whether one’s instincts can be relied upon are questions that define every outing. HIKMICRO’s new brand positioning addresses precisely this reality, acknowledging the uncertainties that are inherent to ethical and responsible hunting, and affirming the role that reliable technology can play in supporting sound decision-making in the field.
The “Trust Your Journey” vision recognises that technology, when well designed and responsibly deployed, does not diminish the craft of hunting — it reinforces it. By providing clarity where uncertainty once prevailed, HIKMICRO’s thermal and digital optics support hunters in making informed, ethical choices. This philosophy aligns closely with the CIC’s own position that sustainable, well-managed hunting depends upon the competence, responsibility, and integrity of individual hunters.
The brand launch was accompanied by a short film that traces the arc from doubt to certainty — following a hunter navigating difficult terrain and low visibility before gaining the clarity needed to act with confidence.
The film has been complemented by community engagement through the #TrustYourJourney campaign, through which hunters from across the world shared personal accounts of decisive moments in the field.
The CIC has partnered with HIKMICRO since 2024, and the relationship has included joint content initiatives and field-based collaboration. As a Platinum Sponsor, HIKMICRO supports the CIC’s mission to promote biodiversity conservation through sustainable use, and to advance evidence-based wildlife management at the international level.
The CIC looks forward to continuing this partnership and to sharing further collaborative initiatives in the months ahead.
